Canak Bay is nestled behind a thin rock sliver near the tip of Ekice Cape. In the bay there is a confined sand area just a few metres deep. Dropping in over seagrass we headed southwest along a shallow rock ledge at 6 metres before the seabed dropped gently down to around 15 metres at the point. In the shallows there is an abundance of fireworms, small wrasse, bream and painted combers. In the deep common octopus can be found.
