Scuba Diving in Fiji

July 19, 2007

Dive Site: Horse Guards
Location: South of Yadua
Description: Reef
Depth: 18 metres (59 feet)
Visibility: 30 – 40 metres (100 – 130 feet)

A largish reef which is the shape of a horseshoe where you can dive at different locations. On this shallow reef wall there are lots of spiraling green sea whips and pastel colored soft corals. Look out for giant morays on the wall as well as white tip sharks passing through. An excellent dive site for fish such as filament and Pacific steepheaded parrotfish, humphead wrasse and white margin unicornfish.
