Dive Site: Shark Alley
Location: Yaduataba
Description: Reef
Depth: 18 metres (59 feet)
Visibility: 30 – 40 metres (100 – 130 feet)

Shark Alley is adjacent to Yaduataba. Everything on the reef in a mist of colour and movement and the beauty and colours of the reef life that had to look away into the pure blue of the sea to regain your perspective. In the distance it made out some dark green shapes which were moving further up the reef away. They became more vivid and three bumphead parrotfish, the largest being 110cm which is a pretty spectacular size for a fish. It was able to enjoy and follow them for a while until they disappeared out of vision into another part of the reef. Then in a glimpse below you can see white tip reef shark cruising up the reef wall. It was amazed at how the shark moved through the water with such elegance. It appeared to be at one in its element and didn’t seem bothered about me being in its ocean even though I know it sensed my presence.
